People have always been at the heart of what we do. In 2020, this rang especially true. “This is Us” tells the story of our most challenging year yet, in these unprecedented times where we were distanced and confined due to the pandemic. Above all, 2020 was also the year that empowered us and filled us with a renewed hope to carry on with our mission. Featuring stories of a who found his voice in the classroom, a lonely who formed new friendships, a held together by resilience, a with mental illness living independently with the help of community support to examples of passionate volunteerism, these embody AMKFSC’s commitment to enhancing and enriching lives. Amid this extraordinary period, we stand united , resilient and more human than ever. This is him, her, them, you, me. This is us, and this is the AMKFSC story.
