AFR-SG is a ground-up movement based in Singapore, focused on bringing about greater awareness on the issues of refugees and forced migration in the region and beyond. We feel strongly that Singapore – like many other countries – has a crucial role to play as part of the international community in responsibility-sharing when responding to the effects and consequences of global displacement.

As a volunteer, I assisted with developing content for AFR-SG’s social media platforms.

In line with World Refugee Day, AFR-SG started a segment called Voices. In 2021, we continued this segment in the lead up to 20 June as we really wanted to continue centering the voices of those with lived experiences of being displaced. The theme was Unknown/Uncertainty.
