HERD is a social enterprise in Singapore empowering children, youths, adults and seniors through horse-based programmes. Known as Equine-Assisted Intervention (EAI), it is an approach gaining popularity around the world as a way to enhance the psychosocial wellbeing of groups and individuals. ​Its mission is to empower individuals to live more fulfilling and enriching lives through EAI and to provide opportunities for all persons to have meaningful interactions with retired or  aged horses in Singapore. 

As a volunteer, I help with caring for the horses and assisting with programmes for clients.
